"The property itself is beautiful, the beach and surrounding areas are beautiful and clean and not so busy. The customer service is exceptional. The only cons are that there is not an AC in the bedroom, only 2 fans so the heat and humidity was unbearable during the afternoon. Additionally, they have a fridge in the room with snacks that gets locked the night before you check out without warning. "This place is AMAZING!!! Corrales Bay Resort exceeded our expectations. The views are unreal, the rooms are beautiful. The food was authentic and delicious. We snorkeled right off the dock and saw so many species of fish, the water was very clear. There are great hikes around the resort. I would definitely recommend hiking to the lighthouse. "Booked without realizing it was outside of Puerto Vallarta. One of my best mistakes to date. It is a little expensive to get to by taxi, and extra $50 we didn't plan on but in the end it was sooo worth it. This place is tranquil and good for the soul. There is a small stream behind the hotel with a manmade sandbar in it with 3 beach chairs. Waterfall about 4 steps away from that.
