"Clean comfortable room in a grand building close to seafront close to local restaurants and bars. Room and hot water performance could do with an update but otherwise fine. Found out from staff that the hotel was closing down to be converted to flats which is a shame ."

"The room was OK, but finding the hotel and finding the room within the hotel were both very difficult. They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. There are some lovely period features in the property, but some of the paneling is actually wallpaper!"

"The hotel was fine, but just fine. We waited for 15 at check in as there was only person on the reception desk on New Years Eve. The lift didn't work, nor had it 6 months earlier when friends stayed there. And the WiFi didn't work on the 4th floor. That said the room was good sized, clean and comfortable."
