This is an older property, but it was clean, convenient to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The staff was great.

The property is tired and dated and very noisy hearing most noises around the property, we had to turn the car park lights on at dusk from our room, very strange However found the staff very nice and helpful

Affordable hotel at decent prices , the staff is friendly always here to help you. The cleaners are doing a great job in this huge mansion. Close to restaurants, shops,buses (10mns ride to Brighton Center), 5mns walk to the boardwalk . Great wifi connexion, tv wasn’t working(needed to check cable connection), but who need to watch tv when you got the beach nearby? If you’re on a budget, this place is for you.

The room was large and clean. It would be better to have two pillows on the beds rather than one. A hair dryer and hangers in the wardrobes. The water could have been hotter in the shower. The staff were very pleasant.

Given some TLC this could be beautiful hotel

Staff very helpful but hotel is so much in need of repairs and paint. Curtains were falling off the tracks. No spoons to stir coffee. Bathroom very outdated, but for what we paid and for one night only it was ok.

It was like Faulty Towers of Brighton in 2025. We were shown 2 possible rooms to stay in. We picked the best of a bad room. The carpets were awful, thread bare in places or paint all over them. The bathroom tiles were held in with screws. No bath mats, TV or anything. The bed mattress was very uncomfortable and seemed to have a big dent in it, which made it hard to sleep on.

No free parking was available and hotel had cheek to charge. 15£ a night totally unacceptable and especially as you state parking in advert . Also why to you have option of free parking in review when none was available

The hotel is more like a hostel, and is manned by a couple of staff. Bed linen, duvet covers appear and felt unclean. Toilet floor tiles are sticky and the floor mat (towel) gets really dirty once put on the floor. I would not recommend this place, unless you are travelling alone and don't mind the above.

Lovey, helpful staff. Hotel room needs a deep clean, dust and peeled off paint on the curtains which all came down when drawing them. Fabric pealing off the head board. Mould in the bathroom. Broken drain on the bathrom floor which was dangerous. We are not fussy, so to put this review is unlike us. But was ultimately a place to put our heads down and sleep for a night so did the job but wouldnt want to be staying here for more than 1 night. Beds were confortable.

⭐ One Star for Hospitality, Five Stars for Existential Comedy and Scary Movie set If you have wondered what it’s like to vacation inside a David Lynch fever dream — look no further than the Albany Hotel in Hove. Let’s start with the setting: it shares a wall with a boarded-up, abandoned building that looks like it’s about to star in its own “true crime” documentary. Now, finding your room is part escape room, part Olympic trial. When the kind and genuinely lovely staff told us our room was “just up the stairs and to the right,” what they meant was: ascend three flights of creaking stairs, pass at least one or two portals to parallel dimensions, take a sharp right, go down a half-flight of inexplicable stairs, follow another hallway, make a suspicious right turn, and open a door that you’re only 65% sure isn’t cursed. Also: there were at least two lifts — clearly long deceased — both quietly mocking us with their dusty OUT OF ORDER signs like two metallic tombstones of convenience. The stairs themselves were their own adventure — not only because of the sheer number of them, but because they came with surprise doors. Randomly-placed, vaguely ominous doors you must pass through mid-staircase like you’re completing a side quest in a haunted video game. And the carpet! Let’s talk about the carpet. Imagine “The Shining,” now imagine worse. Faded, worn, and deeply confused

Decent Hotel close to the beach

The chap on reception was very helpful. Hotel advertised parking but this is chargeable. Room was clean, but mattress was soft. Overall a great budget stay

Perfectamente valido para una noche. Hay un paseo agradable hasta el centro. El hotel tiene mucho tute encima, las habitaciones se nota que necesitan una renovación total, no hay nada especialmente moderno. El personal fue amistoso y nos ayudó en todo.
