"The room in itself was a bit small for our taste, which made it somewhat hard to set up in it, but the rest made up for it. It's located on the seaside and we had a little balcony that gave us a view of the water. Right across the street, you have a ramp that gives you access to the water where you can swim with views to volcanic rock formations in the sea. I highly recommend wearing water shoes because you have to walk on rocks to go into the water and some have sharp barnacles, but the water...

"Vores ophold på B&B Oriental Palace oversteg alle forventninger. Lucilla, vores vært, sørgede for at vi fik en fantastisk oplevelse. "We booked 2 large and charming king sized bedrooms for the 3 of us (adults), & both rooms had private bathrooms. The baths were updated in space, with plenty of hot water & fabulous water pressure. However (typical to traditional B&B's) they were not ensuite & had no A/C; which would have been welcomed in the unusual June heat. "The rooms are modern and very clean and comfortable. As a solo female traveler I also felt very safe here and could walk around to the market, bakery and restaurants easily. I really enjoyed my stay and it was nice to have a shared kitchen where I could store food in a fridge and make coffee each morning. The staff is very friendly a responsive and helpful. They even gave me a ride to the train station when I left Catania. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to my friends and family."
