"Having read some scary reviews, we were a little worried - but it was not at all Fawlty Towers. The building itself is magnificent - it's definitely the tallest room I've ever slept in. The roses in the walkway - such a scent. The gardens have a well-tended, shabby-chic feel where you can see the grandeur of the original planting being colonised by nature. "Beautiful chateaux with friendly owner. The chateaux is huge with very few rooms. Given the oldest part was built in 1115, you can expect that it is as clean as a modern 5 star hotel. Nevertheless, the bed is comfortable and the property has character. I would highly recommend staying there for the experience. BTW, the breakfast is also excellent with fresh squeezed apple juice from the property."

"Pour une première dans un F1, j'étais très agréablement surprise. Les douches et wc communs étaient très propres et régulièrement nettoyés. Le petit déjeuner suffisamment copieux et profitable autant pour les lève-tôt (6h) que pour les lève-tard (jusqu'à 10h). Personnel très agréable. Et un assez grand parking pour trouver une place de stationnement même de nuit."

" Bon accueil à la réception, chambre très propre et opérationnelle pour une nuitée, matelas confortable...... Cependant, pour plusieurs nuitées et pour 2 personnes le manque de penderies afin de suspendre des vêtements fait défaut. La superficie de la chambre y est pour beaucoup."
