"I had a nice stay at Barclay Cottage Inn overall. The property was clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located near the beach. The service was also good, and I had a pleasant experience with the staff. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. I realize the property describes it as a continental breakfast, so I may have had different expectations based on some of the breakfast photos I saw online. The breakfast offered during my stay was fairly limited: bagels with cream cheese or...

"Was upgraded to the best suite and the staff catered to us repeatedly. They were so friendly and"

"Acceptable"

"The location is convenient. I was in a room with a view of the beach and a balcony. The rooms however are older and could definitely use some remodeling. I only stayed one night but can’t say I would be back if I had to stay longer. The staff was friendly."

"I loved everything about this hotel and I do mean EVERYTHING! Oceanfront room with balcony, staff, breakfast! The availability of early check-in, spacious room, etc. Me and my husband was there to celebrate our 35th Anniversary but we both had allergies that flared up as soon we got there and wasn’t feeling up to doing a lot but having a room with such a beautiful view made it not so bad."

"Every room has a ocean view, and staff was very nice and helpful."

"The staff was very unhelpful. Never had anything available at the front desk. Have to wait for housekeeping to bring something and then they don’t get that correct. No late checkout, not even 10 or 15 minutes housekeeping knocks on your door even with a do not disturb sign on the door! No hair dryer one roll of toilet paper. Very lackluster. Mostly all the restaurants near the hotel were closed. And what was open was horrific ! Was scammed by custom prints across the street. No response from an...

"Muy bueno"

"I like this Red roof because it’s close to the beach. I don’t like the parking lot it’s too tide and too small."

"Very poor shower pressure! Had a hard time taking a shower."

"Crap breakfast"

"The view"

"The staff was nice and the location was awesome. The largest complaint I have is the bugs throughout the rooms. We rented 5 rooms for 5 days and there were roaches in 3 of the rooms and some of the appliances did not work in a couple and the curtains were falling down in one and to be honest it really was not as nice as I expected for what we paid. The staff did address all of our complaints immediately so that made a big difference."
