"Excellent accommodation tainted by the car parking experience. I pre-booked and pre-paid for overnight parking but the parking area was full. I had to pay for parking elsewhere - very annoying."

"The staff were excellent. Our room with two double beds was bigger than expected and had plenty of space for my wife and I and our two children. The buffet breakfast was tasty with plenty of options. My only gripe would be stained grouting in the bathroom but you see that everywhere except 5 star hotels (where they renovate every few years). All in all, excellent value, and a perfect location for those travelling from VIC to QLD."

"Stayed here many times over the years previous to Visy and have never paid for parking, I understand to charge if workers from nearby buildings were using but hotel guests should not be charged. The hotel is years overdue for an update, the hallways smelt and very run down. There was a fire alarm went off at midnight waking all from their sleep and it appeared that only one night manager on duty and one security guard, they both appeared to be “lost” and giving NO direction to anyone. The culprit for the alarm was a male in a room smoking. We didn’t even bother to stay for breakfast as couldn’t wait to leave. The second worst hotel I have stayed in and the actually worst in Hawaii was due for demolition - this should be on the list for this hotel."

"Room was fine but breakfast was really disappointing - the coffee machine and the pancake machine were broken. The pastries weren’t fresh and the mushrooms were old and dried out. Convenient for where we needed to be - the sports ground but take your own breakfast!"

"The breakfast buffet was very ordinary The coffee machine was broken and the cranky lady in charge was than going to charge us for coffee from the barista Not good and she was rude The room had stains throughout the carpet and the skirting boards need repainting The restaurant was quiet small and we couldn’t get a table for dinner but the reception staff were nice and friendly Overall the place looked very tired"

"Parking is a bit tricky as it's very tight turning spaces. I am taking a large SUV next visit and am quite concerned about actually fitting into the car park entrance, let alone a parking space!"
