"Staff all very good. I had a problem with the toilet seat and they fixed it during the day while I was out. Food and drinks service good. No noise in my room from the wedding party. Only issue for me was the room window was very small and high up in the wall, so I couldn’t see out, and the sky light had no covering, so being Scotland, I had daylight from 5:30am waking me up. Not the worst problem in the world. Wonderful park like location, and again, all the staff were wonderful."

"Wonderful one-night stay after a week of wet hiking in the Highlands. Our meal in the pub was good and we had the best night's sleep we'd had in a week. Breakfast the next morning was simple but good, and the staff was very helpful in helping us arrange for a taxi."

"I cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I booked on a whim to be close to St Andrews without St Andrews prices. Upon first glance my husband thought I was crazy, he assumed it would be run down, and not offer much because it was not in the city center. He sure changed his tune on that once we checked in. Spacious, clean room, adorned with antiques & thoughtful details to make your stay more comfortable & enjoyable: coffee/cream/sugar set with scones/ GF biscuit, butter & jam upon arrival, chocolates not only in your room but in candy dishes on the stair landings, Epsom salts for the soaker tub, a few stairs but they will help carry luggage if you need it.
