"I had a fantastic 4-night stay at the Sofitel LA. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, courteous, and attentive. The valet service was especially excellent — quick, professional, and always friendly. The room was amazing, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable and made it easy to relax after long days in the city. One feature I really appreciated was that upon check-in, guests are given a reusable water bottle to use at the filtered water stations located on each floor and in the gym. It was such a thoughtful and eco-friendly touch. The gym was also beyond adequate. I was able to complete two really good workouts during my stay, which made a big difference while traveling. Overall, this hotel delivered a great experience across the board, and I would absolutely stay here again."

"I have never eaten @ Palihouse & the bar has excellent drinks, bartenders are amazing, but you need to have better bar food, for the in-between meals, and somebody would like to snack. Other than that, everything’s amazing @ Palihouse"

"This is a hidden gem in a fabulous location, within easy walking distance of The Grove and other cute restaurants and galleries. Free parking!!! My only complaints: (1) when I pulled out the desk chair, there were stray hairs on the chair (not mine!) as well as a pice of broken necklace. A bit disconcerting; and (2) the sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable, according to my daughter. Nevertheless, the place was otherwise clean and comfy. I would recommend based on the location."

"THIS PLACE IS A MOTEL ON MELROSE, at best. Standing water in the tub. Loud fans in the bathroom. You have to ask (against their will) to have them manually turn on the AC in the rooms. And the post-stay support is atrocious. Never again and never will recommend this place to anyone "

"For the most part everyone on the staff was helpful and friendly. We did not like the fact that Manny follow us to our rooms with a piece of paper begging us to give the hotel and himself 5 star reviews. He creeped out one of my Co workers. Very nice person and was very helpful, but doesn't need to pester the guest. Other than that, everyone including Manny was very helpful. The walls are a little thin. You hear your neighbors in the morning in their rooms. I did find some cleaning supplies left in my room the 3rd day. I put them in the hallway for the cleaning people to grab."
