"Due to a shortage of housekeeping staff we couldn’t get into our room until 6pm! The floor in our room was gritty due to sand being brought into the room. The room obviously hadn’t been swept for some time and the shower tray wasn’t particularly clean. Location of hotel was very good, right on the beach. The beach was great, white powdery sand. We sat on the beach and didn’t use the pool as there was loud music blearing out there. There were lots of kids running around. Hotels.com website says that beach sun loungers and umbrellas are complimentary, but in fact this is incorrect as you had to pay $55 per day!"

"Place was ok but not great for the price. Breakfast was terrible so expect to go out for that. Staff was ok but not great either. We had a bad tv amd informed the staff and was assured that it would be handled but again nothing was ever done about it. On the positve side, views from the bay side were great and it was quiet and had a comfortable bed. Overall would not stsy jere again though. There are much better places for the price that we paid."

"The room was very clean; however, there was a lack of any sort of broom/dustpan and zero paper towels available when arriving. We opted to avoid any room service during the stay, and the lack of broom made it difficult to keep sand out of the room. We only went to the pool one day, we were honestly a little underwhelmed with the size of the pool - I can't imagine how cramped the pool would seem during more peak times of the year. We had to do a last minute audible on where we were staying (going from a beach rental to a property located on the harbor), and we were absolutely not disappointed with the beach shuttle service - but I could see there being some requests for it to run later as it ended around 5-6 PM. Location of the property offered A LOT to do during the trip regardless of external weather conditions. There seemed to be a lot to do in the area for many different crowds/ages. Never been to a spa or had a professional massage before, but the Emerald Grande set the bar high for future spas/massages with their paid on site services. Renovations made getting into the Harbor Suites room restricted/odd, with the only entrance/exit to the floor the rooms are located on being the parking garage. I could see this being a safety concern as the parking garage itself was available to the public (with levels 3 and above requiring a room key to access via a car). If I were a female patron, I'd have been more concerned always having to go through the parking garage."

"My girls and I stayed for 5 days when we arrived early for our vacation and needed to find a place quickly, the price was phenomenal, the pool was clean and housekeeping did an amazing job. I would definitely stay here again 🙂"
