The property was beautiful and the room was so spacious and the pool was large. My only con is that the on-site food is very expensive, but there are lots of restaurants nearby that are walkable and easy to get to.

We stayed in a two bedroom ocean view villa loft. Gorgeous, spacious room. There were four of us but it could have comfortably fit more. Very clean with comfortable beds. Loved the balcony with the gas fireplace. Everything was pricey, as you might imagine. For what I spent, I would have loved for parking or breakfast to be included.

It is always nice to see Isaac and Jasmine working on the property. Very friendly... Of course the ammenities are superb. We will continue to stay at the Hotel del property for years to come, as we have family ob Coronado Island.

Treat to stay at the LXR Hotel

We were in San Diego to visit friends and to get married on the beach with friends and family. A small intamite gathering. Returned back to the hotel after the ceremony to enjoy the rest of the evening at the bar and patio area. The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating.

This is as good as it gets. Brand new and wonderful. Every room has a decent view of the ocean or the bay. The grounds are lovely. Suggestion: Complimentary coffee in the lobby for guests. Everyone will appreciate this amenity.

Most highly recommend shore house exquisitely designed spotless great for Adults and wonderful for children and families. The whole property was beautiful landscaped lost of great walking paths everywhere was so well maintained staff very friendly close to shopping restaurants town was safe clean. This is a new premier ocean front property on Coronado Island right next door to the Historic Del Coronado built in 1888. It has everything anyone could want in a premier upscale luxury property. You will love it.

This place is amazingly beautiful. Also, our AC stopped working the first night. They upgraded us to the premier room and comped us one night. Wonderful establishment. Fantastic food, geeat for walking to shops and dining. Right on the beach. The only place I will stay at in San Diego!

Beautiful 2 bed/2 bath condo for family of 6 ocean view from side balcony with fireplace. High end. Awesome pool and hot tub right on the beach. All the laundry and bath supplies. Right next to Main Coronado Hotel. Steps from all shopping. Attentive employees. Zero complaints. Will return.

The Shore House hotel is amazing, very new and a first class facility. As part of the Hotel Del it is surrounded by amenities and the beautiful coastal area. We loved it. We only had one meal at the resort though because it was very expensive. It was only a half mile walk to quite a few other restaurants so we left the resort to eat. We had a loud neighbor one night but otherwise loved our room. There was a screwup with our checkin so they gave us a $150 credit plus an upgrade to an ocean front room. We appreciated that. We would stay there again for sure.

They have a weird thing with the key where if they give you a new key it voids all the others. Hard with a group. We also got locked out and had to skirt the bushes of the pool area to get in. The reception area just acted like it was a normal occurrence. Otherwise a very nice location and well maintained. Much prefer this to the behemoth that is the main hotel.

Beautiful hotel, horrendous service

Really shockingly bad service from the front desk, rarely able to call down and actually reach someone with any issues, incompetent managers etc. We had a room apparently over the ballroom, on a weeknight, during a “corporate event.” Noticing the party setup happening, we asked if the room would be too loud for our six month old and were assured by a manager that there would be no music and the party shut down at 10pm. There was, in fact, pounding music until 11:30, vibrating the room/bed/baby, and shore house was not staffed overnight, so there was no one to even help resolve the situation until the next morning. The valet and bell staff is world-class, however. Efficient, friendly, and very competent. We’ve stayed at the del numerous times and every time something is a service-based disaster. It’s a beautiful property but in no way is it a luxury hotel or experience.
