"The views and the room were a 10 out of 10. The owner and manager were friendly and tried to make our visit enjoyable. However, there were numerous issues with the resort. Firstly, you need a 4 wheel drive to reach the resort. We had to park our car at the bottom of the hill at the side of the road. The owner had to come get us and bring us to the resort. "The only good thing about this hotel is the staff's service; the two cleaning ladies and the young woman in the restaurant are very attentive. And the breakfast…Unfortunately, this hotel is not in a condition to host guests—it is falling apart. I stayed there for four nights with my husband and children, and we suffered in the heat because the air conditioning didn't work. The shower lacked sufficient water pressure, so we couldn't bathe properly; everything was broken or in disrepair. There is no phone to call if you need something; you have to wait until morning for a response via WhatsApp. One night we arrived at the hotel, and the room was full of water because the A/C was leaking and not working—a disaster. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had."

There are dogs on sight and although they are cute they sat outside our room (as we were the only guests) at night barking and fighting. It took several calls, texts and hours for them to take the dogs away. I think this place has a lot of potential but for the price it was a disappointment. We only stayed one of two nights since the rains were making the road to the resort impassable and we worried we would be stuck in the muddy lane. We asked the owner for a refund for the second night and he did not respond. Expedia however sided with us stating the resort description was lacking important information. If you want to stay in a geodesic dome choose The Domes. It is pricier but is well kept, has a restaurant and all amenities work as stated. They are also located just outside of Jaracaboa, so close to many attractions."

"Cathy was the best host, she was very kind and always open to support in everything we might need. The bungalow is beautiful, nicely decorated and the concept of the property overall is just amazing, surrounded by nature, birds and clean air. I highly recommend to stay here you will definitely not regret. Thank you so much for everything Cathy!"
