Very nice experience. The host was excellent and service was excellent. Only drawback is that the domes show a little ware and tare. And also it was very difficult to get to this location without a 4x4 vehicle. The roads are not paved and extremely steep. We almost didn't make it. We all had to dismount the vehicle and drive it up the road with no passengers. The breakfast was excellent.

We loved the views and the setting of this property. We stayed 2 nights. In June. The dome we stayed in needed some care and attention. The biggest disappointment was the view from inside the dome. The windows which are made of plastic were dull and stained which prevented you from seeing the amazing views from inside the dome. Very disappointed. The curtains would not close without significant effort at night. The shower leaked all over the floor. The balcony should be cleared of the growth growing on the railing so the views could be seen when sitting or in the hot tub. Pillows were extremely hard, not comfortable. Also being in Dominican Republic, you would expect that you would have some fruit available for breakfast. We had to ask for fruit, which was not a available on the first day. We did receive 2 kinds of fruit the next morning. Still disappointed. The staff were excellent, but as I said some units need attention. Amazing views.

The property is beautiful and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and works hard to please. Our room was clean and nicely furnished with a large bathroom and modern fixtures. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed watching them change as the sun set into night. We had a couple steaks with different side dishes and everything was fresh and flavorful. We chose to tip the kitchen staff to prepare our food for us but the option to cook yourself is available. It was a great, relaxing, pampered experience. Gracias!! We plan to return regularly. đŸ˜ŽđŸ‡©đŸ‡ŽđŸ™

Major advertised amenities simply do not exist. We paid approximately $1,600 for four nights, and the property was materially different from its Expedia listing. These are not subjective complaints—the Domes confirmed the discrepancies to us in writing. Restaurant: There is no traditional restaurant. The “View Bistro” is a retail/deli area selling food, including frozen food, that guests prepare themselves or pay an additional 1,000 DOP (~$17) to have prepared. Bar/lounge: There is no bar/lounge. The property explicitly told us, “we don’t have a bar.” Beer, wine and liquor are simply sold at the retail store. Outdoor pool: There is no shared outdoor swimming pool. The property confirmed the only water amenities are private heated jacuzzis associated with individual domes. Spa: There is no spa. The property confirmed this in writing. Instead, a $90 massage can be arranged in advance. Free support vehicle: We were told via WhatsApp before our stay that a free support vehicle was available to bring guests up to the hotel. When we tried to use it, we were told it was not free. A restaurant, bar/lounge, pool and spa are major amenities that influence booking decisions, especially at this price. Had the listing been accurate, we would have evaluated this property very differently. I have screenshots of both the advertised amenities and the property’s written confirmations. Prospective guests deserve to know what is actually here before booking. No restaurants nearby either.
