The room we stayed in was clean, well taken care of by housekeeping and had updated and modern bathroom and lighting/appliances. very nice and comfortable common areas, clean looking pool. excellent included breakfast, continental breakfast as well as hot breakfast made to order. I didn't have breakfast, but the evening meal on the 1st night was very good and reasonably priced too - real ale also excellent. Hotel and bar area has a really cozy feel and obviously very popular with local peolpe and cyclists too. "
