"First red flag I should have know was the number listed was not answering 2 days prior to booking I left a message then realized when I got there and asked the number they had was different then the one listed on Expedia which i feel they use to their advantage. Upon arriving was hit with a “remaining balance” fee that I couldn’t get an understanding of aside of “this is because you booked through Expedia” after trying to understand for nearly 10 minutes going back and forth with the manager. She then tried to convince me that my stay for what I was getting was well worth it (her opinion) being that I had no choice but to pay or lose the total I had already put nearly $300, I paid. Got into the room to realize there was absolutely no AC but a small circulating fan luckily it’s not summer opened a few windows notice only 1 out of 5 had a screen. The beds weren’t very comfortable and to top it, all the complementary breakfast was was literally a bagel or a choice between 2-3 cereals. Not even a dining area for that either. There seemed to be a lot of sketchy people wandering at night and was a little worried leaving stuff in the room. This is not a place i recommended anyone unless it’s a very last resort and even still don’t expect much. There was only one staff member there that was helpful. Wi-Fi password wouldn’t connect due to the amount of devices already online. Being on the same block as the beach is probably the only positive thing and that’s me looking for one. "

"Checking in was easy. I had a simple request to get a corner room and it was granted. But the best thing was the honesty and friendliness of the cleaning staff. On my way out I said good morning and told them I was leaving. So they went to clean my room, they saw some items I left behind (especially an expensive watch) and they tracked me down in the parking lot. That is 1000000% great customer service, an awesome human being, and definitely integrity. I would not have noticed for sometime. I will definitely be back over this small act of kindness. "

"I was downstairs.. There was someone upstairs with heavy boots on clomping around half the nite and even when he(her) Was barefoot was very heavy footed.. Busy making noise allot of the nite.. Very irritating!! I came into Ventura because my dad is dieing.. Only good thing was the bed didn't hurt my hips. 😡"

"It was very disappointing experience.I stayed one night and paid about $160, but it didn't feel it was worth the price. First, there was not enough parking ,so I had no choice but to park on the street. Another issue was that there was no place to buy water. There was one vending machine, but it was broken,There was no nearby place to buy water, and even if there was, the area did not seem safe. As a result, I had to spend the night without water."
