A hotel that is ready for domolition.
This was once a beautiful old hotel, that has been neglected for so long it is a shame. There was no service and breakfast was a joke.

Avoid will all your power
This place is all but abandoned. Looked to be the hot place 40 years ago but is seriously aged and service is non existent. Very bad location dirty showers and bathroom. As well as nasty bed bugs. Avoid

Needs a huge face lift!
The hotel has seemed better days. No one has taken care of it for quite a few years. Paint and upkeep are definitely in order. The pictures look great on your site, but that is far from the truth after staying. Pre-paid all 3 nights, but will never stay again. It probably was the place to stay back in the day, but not anymore, :(

An Old & Quiet Hotel
An old hotel in a quiet part of Chiang Rai, about 2 km from the Night Bazaar. Helpful and prompt attention from the staff when the power trip in the first room (change given) and when the toilet light quits in the replaced room.

Premium location, easier as I had my own car. Room was very spacious and very comfortable, outside of the hotel maintained properly. Breakfast was basic and only bread for vegetarian members of my group.

Was clearly once a beautiful hotel. Now tired and in need of a makeover, but comfortable enough. WiFi not working except in lobby, TV not working and very young and rather incapable staff. Nonetheless good enough for the one night we stayed!

Simple and to the point
It was an old styled hotel with old amenities. A little sketchy for an American used to the western style hotels but it's not disgusting... It's near the bars so if you want to club or drink, boom

Good value of room for the price. I think because it’s the low season, they didn’t keep it super clean. The room was spacious and clean.

Past it’s prime.
This hotel looks like it used to be quite nice. It isn’t anymore. It’s also right next door to a club and the noise will keep you up at night till 2am. Not even earplugs could drown it out. It’s quite far from anything to do and there was only one staff person that spoke very broken English.

It is located next to a nightclub which luckily we couldn't hear but is a little far out of town. Tuk tuks are cheap but not so readily available. Best to talk to security in town area and they will get you one. Beds were like sleeping on plywood but for the cost, this hotel is good value

Older hotel but still good
Hotel is close to central plaza and big c. There is a bar next door PAC club for the younger crowd and not far down the road is a big bar kawandang for the other crowd. It is a older hotel but you can see at one time it was a beauty catering to the elite. The price is good and the rooms are clean. I would recommend this hotel to people who don't need to look at today's modern elite hotels. There is also a restaurant bar across the road playboys good food. I had my own transportation but in thailand there are plenty of option taxi Tuk tuk, motorcycle taxi ect. There is usually a tuk tuk and a motorcycle taxi out front.if not there not too far away.

Good service but old hotel
Very good service except too old for the price i pay. have problem with my check-in due to documentation and caused me minor grief before all was cleared up by their service oriented approach.

Good for the price
We only needed a room overnight while in transit from Laos to the airport. We were travelling with a 17 yo child and this hotel would accomodate the three of us in one room. The price of under A$20 per night was good given this fact. The hotel itself is old and a bit shabby. In its day it would have been flash. It was however clean and the bathroom and shower were fine. The hotel did not offer a currency exchange service and the nearest would require transport. Instead we walked to a nearby new multi-storey shopping mall where we could access an ATM and also took advantage of the food hall.

Never Again
I booked for 3 nights and after 5 minutes I checked out refund or no refund. The hotel pictures on the internet are from 25 plus years ago with no maintenance since. No fountain at the front, resterant or night club , actually think maybe I was the only guest there. Gave it a chance but when I noticed the ceiling above my bath was falling in, that was enough for me. Couldnt even get staff to help me with a tuc tuc on the way out. Avoid this place =)

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room clean and huge. The hotel is a little far from the city. I would stay again if visit Chiang Rai.

Worst hotel
Worst hotel, nothing good to report, very disappointed. The shower from room upstairs was running like a tap into our shower. The 2 chairs were so badly frayed you could see the foam. Very unfriendly staff.

Inexpensive base for a stay in Chiang Rai
Both the hotel and the area are looking a bit run down since I last stayed there some years ago. This is not a hotel that offers the benefits that international travellers might be seeking - no pool, bar, restaurant, travel desk, etc. so it should be seen as a convenient and inexpensive base for a stay in Chiang Rai but not trendy, romantic or family orientated. Not having a restaurant, they do not do breakfast so it is necessary to go to the food hall at the Big C shopping centre on the other side of the main highway or to one of the little local food shops up the road. Having said that, my stay there was comfortable - the room was a good size, it was accoutered with decent air-con, an electric shower and a fridge. The sleep quality was good and it suited me as a single traveller. One other thing - it is a couple of Km outside the city centre so you need to get acquainted with the public transport options.

Bed was tough. Air con noisy. Nice hotel but quite dated. A few night clubs in the area so can be noisy. Not a bad spot, but don't be fooled by the pictures. Not nearly as good as it looks.

Amazing place to stay. I turned up really late in the evening but they welcomed me and helped Me with my booking. As a girl on my own I found this area was not for me , great if your a single guy as so many bars specifically for men. Therefore I stayed one night and left, so neighbourhood wasn't for Me but the hotel was one of the best I've stayed in.

Man bekommt, was man bezahlt.
Die Zimmer sind geräumig, aber sehr abgenutzt und dunkel. Das Badezimmer war leider sehr dreckig - insbesondere die Badewanne und die Fugen. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach aber in Ordnung und das Personal sehr freundlich.

チェンライ・クロックタワーからtaxiでワンメーターですが徒歩圏にコンビニ、ディスコ、バービヤ、ビックC等あり部屋も広くて快適でした。施設は少し古いですが値段相応だと思います。
