"Great staff, especially Roman and Lucy at Reception. They were so welcoming and offered great tips for dining and parking around Chamonix during UMTB week. I wouldn’t recommend staying here without a car since it’s a little off the beaten path, but it was a great home base for our trip. "

"Very quaint and homey, perfect for two travelers looking for a cheap stay near the Chamonix area. Fabienne and the rest of the staff were kind and accommodating, evidenced by them working with us when we encountered bus and flight delays. Rooms were cleaned daily. Additionally, you have the option to pay the first day you arrive or the last (if you plan on taking advantage of the hotel breakfast, it’s easier to pay upon checking out). Would stay again if we decide to journey out to Chamonix....

"Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...

"I am only hesitant to share this glowing review because I don’t want it to be fully booked when I am in town next. My daughter had races in Chamonix, Les Houches and Mageve and this hotel is an ideal location for all of these ski hills. It is stylish, clean, friendly family run place with parking, a fantastic restaurant, good breakfast and everything you could want for your ski vacation. As a mom of a ski racer, I’m picky. "We had bad impression since we arrived. We choose this hotel because they saud they have shuttle bus. So when we arrive at train station, we actually called them to ask them to pick us up caz 2 of us had 3 luggages. The person who picked up the phone refused and said he could not come to pick up as he was the reception and cannot leave the hotel. And said we could walk to hotel only 400 m. So we walked up and the road is on the way up to the hill for the whole 400 m. Can you imagin 2 small...
