What a gem! This hotel was awesome - the staff were wonderfully lovely, they had an excellent restaurant and the rooms were cozy and had everything you needed. The hotel is off of the main strip but accessible easily by train (train station is a 5-7 minute walk) and they also have a shuttle that you can reserve during the day. We loved it and would happily come back again.

Just 10 eur for up to 15 days luggage storage. They were very helpful and responsive in making arrangements for pickup even after the hotel closed for the off season. Rooms were clean, and dinner was delicious, and the views great. Thank you!!

The common areas are comfortable and beautiful. Great view of the mountains from the gardens at the front of the hotel. Big comfortable room. Exceptional service from all staff. I wish we could have spent more than one night. We would definitely go back

From the moment we arrived until the time we departed, we were treated with excellent service by Vincent and his wife. The room was clean, and we had a great view of the mountains, Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful. The hotel is wonderfully decorated, and we enjoyed the sitting areas. By far the nicest hotel we have stayed at during our 11 days in France. We plan to return again someday.

Truly amazing staff, service and atmosphere

Truly amazing staff, service and atmosphere, feels like home in the alps. The hotel has very comfortable public areas, including, the lobby with open fire, a very nice meeting/living room in the first floor, and pool table room. Spa room concept is cool, the reservation includes the sauna, gym and very spacious open space to hang out and cool down. The hotel is bit remote so a car is highly recommended although we survived without. The rooms on the forest side a quite small but certainly serves the purpose.

The hosts and all the staff were very warm and friendly. The shuttle service to and from the ski lifts and the train station made things so easy. Nice fireplace downstairs gives the Chalet a welcoming atmosphere. It’s close to Chamonix, just jump on the FREE train, it’s only a few stops. Definitely a place to come back to .

We have recently returned from 2 nights at this hotel with my 2 friends for a friends birthday and had a lovely stay. The rooms are what you would expect for a 2* Hotel; however, the downstairs has been revamped and looks really good. I had breakfast one day and the food was tasty with various options to suit everyone from Yogurts, Croissant/ Pan Au Chocolat to Eggs and Beans. The view of Mont Blanc is gorgeous, and it is lovely to wake up with this view every day. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and kind. They helped us navigate the trains, where to go and any other queries we had. I can't really fault our stay, only thing I would love is a kettle in the rooms for some more cups of tea =D

The communication was very good once we were at the accommodation. The rooms were efficient and very much met our needs. The room was as presented on the website. Housekeeping was regular and available yet on demand. Options exist for meals and those that participated, they appeared to very much enjoy the ambiance. Lots of casual areas in the hotel to spend some time between activities. A casual accommodation which has excellent location for jumping off up and down the Chamonix valley and beyond.

Great stay with the family

Last minute booking for a ski holiday in St Gervais. 25 minute drive to the ski gondola from the hotel. Hotel staff absolutely fantastic. Lobby area lovely with the heat off the big fire, games for the kids and the smell of Vin Chaud and fresh pancakes wafting!! Rooms are an adequate size for a family of four with a fantastic view of the mountains. Plenty of fresh towels for everyone. Restaurant food very traditional and cheesy!! Delicious and very reasonably priced. Nothing negative to say about this wee gem of a hotel. Dont know why its only a two star.

Good view, dirty ve small room

Other than the mountain view and good hospitality, nothing went well with our stay. I do not think they cleaned the room at all before our check-in. As you also can see from the photos, the floor was dirty. There were garbage around. A used towel was hanging behind the bathroom door. The furniture is too old. The carpet needs to be replaced with something new.The room is too small for 4 people. Maybe it is OK for families but for adults, not an ideal place to stay.
