"I needed a respite from the heat so this very cute and clean boutique hotel in Old Town Tours hit the mark. The a/c was great and the location made it easy to go out for a meal or coffee. The noises from the hall were a bit of a problem but I heard nothing from outside!"

The breakfast was good and varied but the area was not kept clean and tidy during the breakfast hours. "Staff were very helpful and took pity on our terrible French. We were upgraded to two interconnected rooms which was lovely. Nice pool for a quick dip. Beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of parking. Great location for an overnight stay."

"This hotel offers a wonderful stay with a great dinner restaurant and a nice swimming pool, but our second-floor room was extremely hot. Although the hotel provided a fan, it was not adequate to cool the room down, resulting in us not getting much sleep due to the heat. The bathroom and entrance area had no ventilation or windows that could be opened, which added to the overall heat issue. While the dinner food is very tasty and the pool is clean and refreshing, you do need to walk down a fairly steep hill to reach the pool, and the breakfast has a limited choice of food. What We Liked - Excellent Dinner: The food at the restaurant is delicious. Nice Pool: The swimming pool area is clean and very enjoyable. What Needs Improvement Unbearable Room Heat: The second-floor room gets too hot to sleep in. The bathroom and entrance area to the room have no airflow or openable windows. A basic fan is not enough to cool the space down. Final Verdict I would stay here if you want a great dinner, a nice pool, and plan to visit during cooler months. Avoid it during hot weather if you need a cool room to sleep or have trouble walking up steep hills."

"Parking was easy as the hotel had sent a map - it was underground & free as I booked with Hotels.com. Reception was a lovely lady with excellent English. Our room was spacious and had air conditioning which was wonderful as it was 38c outside! It was very quiet. Breakfast was wonderful such a choice with fresh bread cheeses fruit eggs cereal croissants everything and it was constantly refreshed. Would definitely stay again as good distance from the port"

"Second stay here. 2 nights on the way from Calais to Perigord. Lovely rooms, food and drink. Not cheap but worth it. AC very welcome especially for our ageing Labrador! Pool really good. Not much to do in the village but plenty nearby."

"Nice hotel, for me the location was great. Clean room, dark and quiet at night. Restaurant was nice, had a good dinner. My dog found it very nice, he had easy outdoor access from our room. All in all, great for the price."
