This hotel has some of the nicest grounds of anywhere I have ever stayed. It would be perfect for a group that wants to have somewhere to just relax and visit with one another, but still have some privacy and freedom to explore AJIJIC independently. Manager, Joanna (???) was very helpful.

What a delightful place to stay, it check all the boxes a traveller is looking for. I had to switch from my original accomadations in transit because it werent very nice. Garden of Dreams had a room available and I was so happy with the switch. The landscaping alone was worth it. The morning breakfast was nice. Plus one evening they even had an art show and live music. It was perfect!

The staff and owner,Joanna,were absolutely wonderful and accomodating! Alexia,the manager,was very communicative and helpful with her suggestions,what to do,where to dine. The Gardens are beautiful and peace filled. My husband commented how relaxed he was. He even spent time outside! With beautiful nature,you must be prepared for the mosquitoes! I highly recommend this hotel if you find yourself in Ajijic. Also, check out the boutique!

The suite I booked was supposed to be a Comfort Room with King bed and an included Microwave. We had neither. Future visitors should be aware that the plumbing is old and there are limits on what can be flushed down the toilet. Staff are great and our breakfast experience was good. One other item of note is the garden has a Saturday Artisan market, with set up starting early. If you plan to enjoy the grounds and pool, Sat is a bust.

Overpriced Average Hotel with very nice Gardens

I booked three hotels in Jalisco, Mexico on this trip - two were excellent this one was average at best. They charged almost a hundred dollars more than I anticipated. Hotels.com listed hotel at $70 with taxes and fees included. I was charged $404.00 in spite of receiving an email from Hotels.com after booking stating that it would be #337.00 No problem at the other hotels with "Jalisco taxes". Breakfast was barely adequate. I would not recommend as there are far better options in Ajijic.

No me volvería a hospedar ahí, la mujer que nos recibió me colgó el teléfono muy majadera, se hacía que no hablaba bien español, como que no entendía y fue majadera. No me gustó para nada, la habitación que me dieron no fue la que reservamos, la cama era mas pequeña, el check in antes de las 11 que les pasa? Apenas vas despertando y tienes que irte. No recomendado.
