Hotel Real de Chapala
room and amenities were very nice. The only complaint is the bar/restaurant. AND its obvious it is a problem as I spoke with others staying there. The food is inconsistant, the bar is pricey. Hacienda del Lago Boutique Hotel
There were ants all over my room, if any water bottle set out they were all over it. No hot water in shower. Was a bit disappointed. Hot tub advertised but they charge to use it.

Hotel Danza del Sol
The hotel is old and needs work but we really liked the colonial style buildings and the size of the complex. Breakfast was decent for what we paid and I enjoyed sitting on our terrace which felt quite private.
