From the second we arrived at the resort the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure that our trip was perfect. From the enchanting views that come with every room at the resort to the amazing private bay and the food it truly felt like I was in paradise. I want to give a special shout out to Matteo who really went above and beyond to make sure that my girlfriend and I not only never went hungry (these people will not let you out of their sight if they think you’re famished) to making sure that we had a full itinerary he was truly a special treat on top of a perfect stay. I 100% recommend the resort to anyone looking to really have an escape from the rest of the world.

Schöne Ferienanlage mit Traumblick

Es ist eine Anlage in einer kleinen Bucht mit Bungalows, welche sehr modern und funktionell aufgeteilt sind. Allerdings muss man immer hinauf oder hinab steigen. Für Leute, die nicht gut zu Fuß sind, eventuell ein Problem. Es gibt sogar eine kleine Küchenzeile. Jeder Bungalow hat eine eigene kleine Terrasse mit direktem Meerblick.Als wir ankamen, hat uns die direkt angrenzende Bahnlinie erschreckt. Aber es fahren selten Personenzüge, die nicht wirklich stören, selbst bei Nacht nicht. Es gibt Sonnenliegen und einen kleinen, allerdings steinigen Strand, zum Baden nur eigeschränkt geeignet. Badeschuhe sind zu empfehlen. Den Pool, welcher verhältnismäßig groß ist, haben wir nicht genutzt. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit. Alles was benötigt wird, wird mit einer Vespa die engen und steilen wegen transportiert. Manchmal etwas störend. Das Frühstück erfolgt in Buffetform, gute und reichliche Auswahl. Mittag und/oder Abendessen wird serviert. Sofern man keine Voll- oder Halbpension gebucht hat, bekommt man eine umfangreiche Speisekarte. Uns hat es geschmeckt.

A slice of Heaven of Earth that words can't reveal

As i pointed out in the title you cannot describe in words how amazing everything is. From the moment my wife and i arrived we felt like we were in a slice of Heaven. The way you are greeted by Mario, the kindness and warmth, continuing with taking our luggage to the bungalow, the spectacular view of the sea, the cleanliness and the quality of it all is out of this world. I chose Calanica for my wife's 30th birthday because i wanted something special and trust me it was amazing. Although the weather was not on our side the staff and the facilities at the resort made our stay unforgettable. On the day of my wife's birthday she had a surprise waiting for her in the bungalow ( a nice bottle of champagne on ice with a birthday card wishing her all the best compliments of the resort). The breakfast selection has everything you can imagine, pastries fresh made, cheese, salami, eggs, fresh fruit, cake, ham, veggies, coffe, milk, yogurt etc. ,the list keeps going on. I really loved the fact that they give you the chance to make your own orange juice freshly squeezed by yourself. The bungalow itself is very smart furnished, you have plenty of space, kitchen area with everything you need, the bed is so comfortable i wish i could have taken it home with me. If anyone is reading this review, please don't just take my word for it, book Calanica for a experience like no other and indulge in Paradise. I would like to thank Domenico, Mario and all the other staff membera for everything.

Stayed in the hotel for week with my family (2 adult 2 kids). Rooms/bungalows are nice and clean, scenery very good, breakfast tasty and rich, but the best thing was the staff. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. During our stay a friend of mine had a minor car accident on the hotel parking lot. Eventhough my friend did not stay in Calanica, the staff helped us in everyway they could, cleaned up the broken glass, fixed broken window and contacted car rental agency for a spare car. That was really a big help for us. "Hey don't worry, that happens, you're on holiday, we'll fix it" was what we heard from the staff. Despite the accident we had a very good stay, and the hotel staff is to thank for that. So Thanks!!

War mehr oder weniger alles OK. Nur der kleine Baderaum im Zimmer hat ein en unangenehmen Geruch, der ins Zimmer eindrang. Das Personal (Rezeption, Restaurant, Hausmeister ) war sehr nett.

Bungalow hotell vid bra strand

Trevligt hotel som ligger mycket bra ungfär 3 km från Cefalu. Det finns lite att önska vad gäller t ex fler solsängar och parasol som tog slut på morgonen samt att de kunde göra mycket mer vad gäller stranden m m. Hotellet är inget för den som inte kan gå I trapper eller är handikappad, men I övrigt bra och trevliga bungalows.

A wonderful place to relax with family

We are a family travelling from Australia and found this resort absolutely perfect. It was a beautiful setting, our room was very comfortable with bunk beds for the kids and the staff were extremely friendly. We wished we had stayed longer.

Fantastisk resort

Kjempeflott anlegg med nyoppussede bungalower. Vi hadde bungalow nr. 17 og likte plasseringen veldig godt. Den lå rett ovenfor restauranten så det var hyggelig å sitte på balkongen og se på folk som gikk forbi. Vi var der i påsken 2014 og da var ikke bassengområdet åpnet enda, men det var 2 "solplatåer" nede ved sjøen som man kunne sole seg på. Anbefaler definitivt alle til å bo her!

Beautiful cabins overlooking the sea.

One of the nicest places we've stayed. Came in October. The cabins had been beautifully refurbished over the winter. My boys had the pool pretty much to themselves and loved the little 3G football pitch - I loved sitting on my little terrace drinking Prosecco and reading while looking out over the beautiful ocean. The little beach just under the hotel was perfect for swimming and watching the little fish.

superbe !

Superbe hotel, vue imprenable, plage privée pour ainsi dire (quelques personnes des villas voisines y viennent aussi), c'est important car à Cefalu la plage est bondée; avec des rochers à explorer pleins de poissons colorés, on a pied assez loin , ce sont des galets au début et du sable après, près de Cefalu (bus ou prendre voiture), pavillons équipés pour faire une petite cuisine de vacances, pavillon très joli,moderne à l'intérieur, bien équipés (télé, climatisation, four micro-ondes-grill, plaques chauffantes, coffre ) Le principal problème des vacances est de choisir entre plage et piscine !! Moins bien: Le confort du 2ème lit ,:ce n'est pas un vrai lit mais un canapé transformé Il faudrait une petite cloison amovible entre la chambre et salon (ou se trouve le 2ème lit) Eviter les pavillons du haut, il y a le train qui passe assez souvent (pas la nuit), mais c'est un autorail vite passé. Mais la mer peut être plus bruyante que le train en cas de houle ! (même si les pavillons sont bien insonorisés)

Great getaway for couples!

The room was spotless, and looked to have been remodeled recently. The location is great! You can't walk to the city of Cefalu, but it is as easy drive. The staff was very friendly! Matteo really made us feel welcomed and we look forward to returning soon!

Elendig service, dårlig standard

Dette komplekset var nok flott den gang det var nytt, for beliggenheten er super med egen strand og fantastisk utsikt. Dessuten pent oppbygget område med små stier, passasjer og 'hage' med solstoler ved hver bungalow. Utdatert fargevalg og sprukne fliser kan man leve med, men bungalowene stinker mugg. Elendig service fra personalet. Ok basseng.

Hotel résidence dans un cadre superbe : tous les bungalows sont indépendants avec terrasse et ont une vue imprenable sur la mer. Seul petit reproche: les bungalows ne sont pas équipés pour faire à manger : pas de vaisselles, aucune poêle ni casseroles et des plaques de cuisson qui ne fonctionnent pas. On ne peut donc rien se faire à manger ce qui est dommage car il y a une table pour manger. Ceci dit le cadre est superbe, le petit déjeuner très bien, la piscine très grande et agréable.

Peaceful hotel/resort, beautiful views

The location is peaceful - a few kilometers outside Cefalu. There is a small private beach and a decent restaurant. The outside areas are well kept and the views are beautiful. The bungalows are clean but quite small and old fashionably furniced. There was a kitchenette, but no kettles, pans or dishes, so it was of no use :( The 3-course dinner cost 20 eur per person and was ok, nothing special though. Breakfast was also ok, but quite boring already after 3 nights. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. There was quite a long distance between some of the bungalows and the beach, restaurant and parking place.

Wish I could have stayed longer

Better than I expected. The view from all of the bungalows if amazing. The free breakfast was fantastic! The beach was a little rocky and it was kind of a hike down to the beach and the restaurant from our bungalow, but nothing too exhausting. The actual town of Cefalu was also a 20-30 minute walk, which is a bit scary to do at night. It's also kind of far from the train station. However, extremely worth it. The perfect relaxing vacation. I wish I was still there. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well!
