"This is a beautiful hotel with modern amenities. The queen bed was comfortable, yet firm. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh pastries and cappuccinos, yogurt and cheese and more. It is very close to the train station and ferry, so you can get pretty much anywhere. Several restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk and serve delicious north Italian food and local wines. The only drawback is that the room is quite small, as is the shower. Still, we loved our stay. "
"Incredible view of the lake from the balcony of a comfortable and spacious room. Great bed. We loved the spa with a panoramic view of the lake. We thought the breakfast was expensive at €22 a head for what was on offer. "
"Apartment was huge but felt the space could have been configured a bit better e.g. with a kitchenette or more comfy living area. View was amazing (just be aware that the picture shown is when the trees were very young/ had no leaves and they now cover the lake view). Breakfast was nice. Cleaning was good but would have liked the bed linen to be changed - we stayed for 5 nights and it was not changed."

"Our room was lovely. Great size bathroom & show. Great view of the lake, listening to the water was very soothing. Chairs on balcony were not very comfortable but we still used them daily and it would be nice to have a small table out there. Otherwise staff was very nice and accommodating. "
"An old, stately hotel, with works of art in the corridors, lobby and gardens. Wonderful housekeeping and laundry service. Very plentiful buffet breakfast included, where one can sit at a table overlooking Lake Maggiore. The dinner at this restaurant was excellent. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the town of Stresa, where there are shops, restaurants, and a boat to transport you to the islands. The gym/spa/pool complex is amazing.
