Second stay at the Cairn, and it's all around delightful. The food is excellent, the decoration, and you have the village pub right under the same roof! We had a blast at the Friday evening live music and enjoyed exploring around the area. Can't wait to go back.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. I like the caramel wafer in the rooms as a wee Scottish classic. Staff are always great people, very personable and human giving a lovely feeling to the place. The bar and the fire have a cosy and warm atmosphere, with great real ales on tap. Breakfast has the classics, and sets you up for the day well.

Lovely 3 night break at Cairn Hotel our first visit and will certainly return. Really good service with a smile from everyone we encountered.The quality of food was excellent and breakfast compared favourably to a recent stay in a 5* hotel

A peaceful and comfortable hotel with very nice meals in the downstairs restaurant. This was a lovely place from which to explore Cairngorms National Park. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend the hotel to friends!

Super little hotel in a lovely village

Great little hotel, very friendly with a super bar and restaurant. Bed was very comfortable and room was spacious and clean. Take a walk along the Riverside walk and into the woodland walk to see all the amazing wood sculptures.

Cute place

We spent over night. The place is a little shabby but the staff are super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. We had a room overlooking the street on a Saturday night so were not surprised to hear some revelry but it didn't last long. Overall pleasant enough.

Great hotel in picturesque village near Aviemore

Great find. 5 mins up dual carriageway from Aviemore. Beautiful wee village. Bar full of locals. Always a good sign. Stayed with my dog. Very dog friendly. Good breakfast. Cooked to order, no buffet Will definitely be back with the misses.
