The government is making an effort to control the incidents of crime that surround us, but the police station in front of the avenue creates distrust among tourists, at least those I talk to tell me that.

The beach was wonderful and the hotel provided chairs and an umbrella. We experienced an authentic Puerto Rican meal walking distance from the hotel. We plan to return next year.

Seems to be easy to access the beach and the party. Late night fireworks were set off directly across from the hotel by random person on the street. Sounds crazy, but it didn't bother us, just part of the fun!
