Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
The place is lovely, and the cottage was very charming, but I felt like the place needed a better clean, especially considering the price. The drying rack in the kitchen had a grime build-up, and the shower floor was quite grubby. I also noticed some hair on the floor under one of the beds, and the vase was hiding an ant family that came out during the night. The sofa could also do with an update, as the seat cushions were really misshapened, and not comfortable to sit on. Otherwise, it's a really lovely setting, and I enjoyed the privacy combined with a feeling of safety.

Spacious room

We only had 1 night here but the owners were extremely welcoming even though they were busy with a wedding. Our room and bathroom were both very large and had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

Handy, quiet spot for exploring the area.

The cottage was great for what we needed. The breakfast was excellent and the service was lovely. We were visiting friends in the area so it served us well for a couple of nights. The kitchen is a little tired and could do with some newer furniture but otherwise it was perfect. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Get away from City

a nice cottage if you want to get away from city, fresh air and quiet surroundings. in here, you don't get a luxury hotel feeling, but you will feel more like at home with nice environment. receptions are friendly

Quaint and comfortable

Our cottage was perfect for a family. Very attractive with nice little amenities. You'll need to rent a car, but it is a very convenient launching point for all of the attractions on the southern cape. We also enjoyed the Toad restaurant, which is within walking distance.
