The staff were kind and friendly, they allowed us to check in early as we were there early. The wine tasting was included and it was a lovely surprise as I didn’t know they had it. The rooms were spacious, we were 4 adults so they gave us the family room. The only issue was the air conditioning don’t work so it was really hot inside the room. We tried to open the windows and door but the wind was too strong so it slammed the door. They promised to send someone to fix it but no one came. The pool was nice but could be cleaner. Overall a good place for resting on your way to your destination.

Family vibes on a hill overlooking the valley

Amazing staff. We had the master suite, part of the old estate. Overlooking the pool and valley. Amazing views. Serene and chill days by the pool. Easy to go for excursions if you have a car; 10-20min to a lot of options. The old restaurant has burnt down and been moved up to the main building. It suffer a bit because it is a very small kitchen, but it sounds like they have plans to expand. Very generous, allowed us to try wines and explained a lot. Would sit with us and share. Felt very homely & friendly.

Der Aufenthalt hat uns unglaublich gut gefallen. Das Marianne Estate liegt wunderschön, die gesamte Anlage ist so schön angelegt und gepflegt. Das Essen im Restaurant Belfort war fantastisch. Das gesamte Personal war super freundlich und der Wein war natürlich auch sehr fein. Unser Zimmer war super!

Sehr schöne Zeit in tollem Ambiente

Wir haben unsere 3 Urlaubstage in diesem sehr schön gelegenen und von Weinbergen umgebenen Weingut richtig genossen. Gute Weine, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, schöne Unterkunft mit eigenem Pool. Gutes Frühstück mit herrlichem Ausblick von der Terrasse auf die Weinberge. Stellenbosch, Franschhoek und die umliegenden Weingüter sind gut zu erreichen. Die Kosten für den Abholservice wurden uns leider vorab nicht mitgeteilt ansonsten war alles perfekt und sehr angenehm.

Excellent with good staff.

The rooms vary a lot, some are excellent, some are not so good. Great staff. We have now stayed in 3 rooms during 2 holidays. We loved the room in the L'Ermitage, very roomy and comfortable. Only disadvantage was you had to have breakfast in that area and not at the top of the hill main restaurant which would have been better. We loved the Pool Room, lovely views. We thought we would like the Manor House room but did not like it much and very hot during the power cut.

Eine Katastrophe! Das Weingut ist wunderschön gelegen. Egal, ob man an die Weinberge denkt, oder aber die Gebäude. Wir hatten auch wunderschönes Wetter, wenn auch kühl, sodass wir die Landschaft sehr genossen haben. Wenn denn nur die Gastfreundschaft und Professionalität ebenso gut wären: Wir hatten ein Superior-Doppelzimmer über Expedia gebucht, sollten aber bei Ankunft die Honeymoon Hut erhalten. Diese ist in der Tat eine Hütte, weitab jeglicher Häuser in den Weinbergen. Das bedeutet kein Wifi, keine AirCon, Fahrt zum Frühstück mit dem Auto zum Haupthaus. Wir haben diese Reservierung abgelehnt mit dem Verweis, dass wir laut Expedia-Buchung ein Superior Double gebucht haben. Der Ausdruck unserer Expedia-Unterlage interessierte die Hotelmanagerin aber nicht. Man bot uns einen Standard room an, obwohl Superior rooms frei gewesen wären. Wir sollten zunächst 2000 ZAR Rand Aufpreis zahlen, man gab sich dann aber mit 1000 ZAR zufrieden. Wir haben uns dann noch weiter mit dem Haus herumärgern müssen. • Am Ankunftstag war das Restaurant geschlossen mit dem Verweis auf die Hochzeit am Vortag. --> Abendessen in 20 km in der nächsten Stadt . • Das Frühstücksbuffet war ein Witz. Es sollte für etwa 20 Gäste reichen, nachgefüllt wurde überhaupt nichts. Selbst Brot oder Brötchen fehlten. • Restaurantbuchung für den nächsten Abend wieder abgelehnt. • Als wir abends zurückkamen, kein WC-Papier im Zimmer und Rezeption geschlossen! Am Ende hat Expedia uns einen Refund erstattet.

Trevligt boutiquehotell på mindre vingård. Vänligt mottagande men lite rörig incheckning där handdukar mm saknades i rummet. Personalen dock mån om att ordna situationen och erbjuda service som transport mm. Vi bodde i ”loftet” som tyvärr stördes av att träd slog emot taket vid blåsigare förhållanden.

Prachtig hotel in de wijnlanden

Aan de rand van de wijnlanden gelegen estate. Toch perfect als uitvalsbasis om de rest te verkennen. Ontbijt was voldoende en lekker. De kamer was voorzien van alle gemakken en overdadig luxe (manor suite). Wine-tasting was erg lekker, de informatie over de wijnen zou uitgebreider mogen. Ontzettend genoten van het verblijf hier. Hun restaurant Floreal bereidt erg lekkere maaltijden.
