Nice view of Hout Bay from several areas of this modern guest house. Host is good cook and very helpful in recommending places to visit and routes to travel. Our room was quite small but well supplied. A good place for a short stay.

Would love to come back!

Excellent Hotel placed up in the hills of Hout Bay with great view, clean and stylish rooms and nice staff! Breakfast was superb, starting with some fresh fruits and ending with a special made scrambled eggs dish, all eaten with a view. Even on a foggy morning, it was breathing taking!

Breakfast area is lacking tables.One large table (the only one) was occupied by a group of tourists,we had to wait for breakfast until part of the table became available.There is ample space in the room for at least another table.The outside veranda table was wet due to raining conditions overnight

Lovely guest house with the highlight being the varanda where we enjoyed beautiful prepared breakfasts while enjoying the view of the Hout Bay harbour. The only negative was not being offered assistance by the staff on duty to assist with the bags. Steep stairs to the room, so assistance would have been welcome. Apart from that, enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

The guest house was really nice, we loved the balconies, common room and the kitchen. Fantastic views and stylish. We were spoiled by the home made breakfasts and they were so gracious in helping set us up with incredible places to stop on our drives down to the cape. Fantastic value and really enjoyable spot. Easy enough to walk to the beach and down town. We visited towards winter and so there weren't too many ubers at night time, but otherwise transportation was easy.

A tomber par terre

Thomas and Alice were amazing, we loved it there, they are filled with beautiful heart ;Always willing to help and to give good recommendation at anytime. The guest house is sublime, Very well maintained. the breakfast and the chilling area were our favorite part of the guest house, so beautiful with an amazing view. Einfaches B&B mit tollem Frühstück und fantastischer Aussicht. Bei der Buchung der Zimmer sollte man darauf achten eins der größeren Räume zu buchen, da es auch kleine Zimmer gab, die für uns deutlich zu klein gewesen wären. Das Zimmer mit King Size Bett war für uns super. Thomas, Alice und das Team Monty und Fanny waren stets bemüht hilfsbereit aber zurückhaltend zu sein. Im Höut und About gibt es auch ein Wellness Spa, bei dem kostengünstig Beauty Trestments und Massagen angeboten werden. Uns hat es an wirklich nichts gefehlt und wer dem Stadttroubel ein wenig entkommen will ist bestens beraten hier unterzukommen. Um eine noch bessere Erfahrung zu haben, wäre es toll wenn der Gemeinschaftsraum z.B. noch bis Mitternacht genutzt werden könnte und wenn es liegen am Pool zum Sonnen geben würde. Zur Stromverfügbarkeit beim Load Shedding und zur fehlenden Klimaanlage kann ich nichts sagen, da wir hiermit an den 4 Tagen, an denen wir da waren, keine Probleme hatten.
