Lovely guest house convenient to all facilities. Great staff and owners who went out of their way to help you. Clean tidy and a nice garden to relax in. Would definitely return if in capetown again.

Excellent stay. Room was clean and comfortable, hosts were friendly and happy to help with any queries. Good breakfast, quiet area. No load shedding impact as they have a generator/ solar power.

This is a lovely guest house in a great area. It is an interesting house, with lots of individual features. Breakfasts are excellent, and the whole building seems to be cleaned every day! All the staff are friendly and helpful.

Had a short but wonderful stay here. Super efficient as I had missed a plane connection. Very welcoming and really safe for a single female traveller. Brilliant location so close to green point park the water front etc. Highly recommended would stay here again loved it.

Fantastic property with an even better team. Made me feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble and always chatted to me. Offered extra services like trip recommendations. Micheal and the team were superb! The building was secure, well maintained and the included breakfast was great. My room was clean, well laid out and had everything I needed to make my stay relaxing. There is a convenience store 5 minute walk away, Uber’s into the main attractions cost hardly anything and the V&A waterfront was a 20 minute walk away. There is nothing I didnt like about the property, if I have to be picky the shower took a few moments to warm up - hardly a big deal. I will definitely come back to Cape Town and when I do, I hope to stay here again.

Amazing Guesthouse

This place is absolutely fabulous, if they have availability you need to stay here. It's a large family home converted into a guesthouse, the owners are so nice and the breakfast is delicious. Great location, hot water, fast wifi. I loved it here.

Amazing

Altona Guest House is an amazing place to stay it is like being one of the family going to stay, we felt so at home. Nothing was to much trouble, they even did our large load of washing for us for a small fee

My six day stay at this property was incredible. I was very happy with every last detail in regard to my experience. The owner Peter and the manager Wendy became like friends and they went overboard to make me feel welcome and to help me out as much as they could. The breakfasts beyond words and Moffat the cook was so much fun to chat with. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the location is great if you enjoy walking. I was able to the walk along the ocean, to the shopping area, the stadium and the downtown area. I am planning to return with my wife and spend a month at this property next winter.

Nice price worth the money

I stayed for two nights and find the place cozy and convenient for visiting Cape Town, particularly for V/A waterfront and beaches. Good breakfast, nice management, definitely worth the value!
