My prior stay here was pleasant; its current decline is shocking. My recent two-week ordeal was a public health hazard.
I was "greeted" by a room with three ceiling leaks pouring onto my luggage. Moved to a new room, I found the A/C broken, trapping me in 33-35 degree heat. Despite repeated pleas, maintenance never came. My request for a fan was met with lies, even as I saw two returned.
The hotel is crumbling, riddled with leaks—a complete managerial failure. The true horror, though, was the food. Raw meat festered in the sun for hours on end, cross-contaminated with other food. This gastronomic Russian roulette led to severe food poisoning, confining me to my sweltering room for most of my "vacation."
My attempts to seek redress were met with deliberate indifference—ignored in person, over the phone, and by email.
Let my agony be a stark warning: Do not waste your time or money on this lamentable excuse for a Resort. Explore any other option before subjecting yourself to this derelict and dangerous establishment.
