Centrally located to the marina and downtown Cabo. Great resort for golf and hanging at rhe pool. A very aafe reaort that requires two security check points to enter into the area that contains The Four Seasons, Hyatt, and Fiesta Americana.

HDM was not overly crowded. The restaurants all served fantastic food. The service was slow, but worth the wait. The beach was nice, but swimming wasnt recommended. The pool areas made up for the lack of ocean swimming.

We stayed for two nights in the hotel after being at the timeshare for a week. The hotel is still being renovated by the Marriott, and I can’t wait to see it when it is finished. All of the staff was wonderful, but I want to give a special shout out to Oliver, who went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Also, Ivan, Arturo, and all of the bell boys, are the best!!

All the hotel side staff was outstanding. Restaurants were outstanding. Architecture and Decor of traditional Mexican. Facilities have some wear and tear and Jacuzzi's were less than optimal at times on temperature and water level. Pools are beautiful. The water from the reportedly self contained water treatment plant seemed to be safe for ingesting.. Amenities outside the resort did not appear to be walkable though Uber was very easy to summon and reasonably priced. We liked the mid-distance between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo this resort provides. We would definitely be happy to stay here again!.

Hacienda del Mar in Cabo San Lucas is undeniably beautiful. The architecture is stunning, the landscaping is immaculately maintained, and the ocean views are breathtaking. The resort feels like a true escape—peaceful, romantic, and luxurious. The pools are clean and well-kept, and the beach access is a huge plus, even if the waves can be a bit strong. That said, there were a few issues during my stay that are worth noting. First and most significantly, my card was charged twice for the same stay. While the front desk eventually helped sort it out, the situation was stressful and took time away from the relaxation I was expecting. If you decide to stay here, keep a close eye on your charges and bring documentation to help resolve any discrepancies quickly. Another thing to be aware of: the resort automatically adds a 15% gratuity to every restaurant tab. While tipping is customary and appreciated, this charge isn't always made clear up front. It's something to factor into your dining budget, especially if you're planning to eat on-site often. Cash in pesos is not accepted at the resort, which I found surprising and a bit inconvenient given that we’re in Mexico. Make sure to bring a credit card or U.S. dollars if you want to avoid any payment issues while on property. One personal observation: as a Black traveler, I noticed very few other Black guests at the resort. While I didn’t experience any overt issues or discomfort, it's something that stood out to me

Nice quick trip here for my daughters engagement. Grounds are beautiful. Interior of room a bit outdated. Food a bit overpriced. Be aware that ALL food bills already have gratuity included!!!! Overall, nice stay and staff was helpful and pleasant!
