"The lobby and lifts stank. The room was freezing, miserable and the bathroom was so full of mould. I arrived late and was greeted by dogs barking and people hiding in dark corners of the car park and I immediately felt unsafe. Was then greeted by a lobby full of homeless people, who were very polite. Check in was fine and staff were polite. The room itself was horrid. Freezing cold, outdated, and with a mouldy bathroom. The walls were so thin you could hear everything. If it hadn’t have been so late I would have left straight away as it was disgusting"

"Friendly, helpful staff. Great location on quieter Gateshead side of the river but near Millennium Bridge to quickly walk over to busier Newcastle Quays and city centre. Comfy bed & spacious room. Bathroom clean and functional but a bit tired."

"We stayed in hotel across as we had a twin room. There was zero security as the keycard access was non-existent so anyone could (and did) just walk in off the street all the way upto the bedrooms. There was a massive fight right outside our bedroom with a loads of lads in the night. Terrible "

"Great hotel in a good location close to shopping, restaurants and bars. Comfortable and spacious room but there was damage to the sink which had a large chip in it. Also only 2 pillows which were very thin and didn't have pillow protectors on them. They really should be replaced."
