Beautiful hotel! A true gem and in the best possible location! There is a great shopping street one block down with many beautiful restaurants. Also it’s just a short stroll to the river. There were tourists entering the hotel just to take pictures of the amazing lobby. Would highly recommend!

Completely modern experience in historic building

The Parisi Udvar occupies one of the most impressive historical buildings imaginable for a hotel. The historic building has been completely renovated to the highest standards of a world class luxury hotel. The service is fantastic and the rooms are well appointed, very clean and comfortable.

5 star. A great destination hotel to explore.

Such a beautiful hotel. Honestly, I have stayed in some corkers but this place. Gorgeous. We were upgraded on arrival and the rooms are generous in size and host all needed modern amenities. The spa on the small size but other than this, hotel and service were impeccable. Hotel very central and in a great part of the city.

The architecture of the building is breathtaking, and the hotel makes ultimate use of the space with beautiful live music, most of the day, and gorgeous events to draw you in to this spectacular city. One can get five star service from many hotels, but this one manages to feel like a special undiscovered gem!

A superb hotel, well located in the centre of Budapest. All the services were as good as you would expect from such an establishment: availability and friendliness of the staff, cleanliness and quality of bedding. A truly faultless experience.

A beautiful hotel with the highest quality service and facilities. The room was far above the expectations that we had, which were already high having read previous reviews. The staff are all extremely helpful and eager to accommodate. The area is very central and handy for public transport. A fantastic blend of modern facilities in a wonderfully restored period building. One of the best hotels I’ve ever visited.

This is a ten star property. We visited the first part of May 2024. The hotel is so beautiful in person, the pictures just don’t do it justice. The staff were all exceptional. From restaurant suggestions to transportation they took care of everything. My room was always immaculate. Take time to speak with the doormen, they are very knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

This hotel was great. The lobby is magnificent, and it makes every entry into the hotel a treat. My room, one of the smaller ones, wasn't magnificent, but it was lovely and very comfortable. Not large but big enough with a nice work area. The golden backsplash in the bathroom was very elegant -- I want it for my home. I had room service a couple of times and the food was fantastic. Breakfast in the lobby under that belle epoque roof is a must do at least once. I loved my stay at the Budapest Parisi Udvar. The location is great too. Perfect stay.

Comfortable Stay

Great location. Beautiful building. Very kind and accommodating staff. They let us check in an hour early. :) love the Hyatt brand. Stayed in a corner king suite. Prefer the Andaz product. Netflix worked perfectly with iPhone. Tip: Don’t completely listen to Apple Maps if you’re driving yourself to the hotel. Apple will take you to the side of the building so take the little side street before you reach your destination.

This was our first time staying at Parisi Udvar and we had an outstanding experience. The service of the staff was always top quality, they were so friendly and willing to help out no matter how small the request. For instance, we wanted to store some food items in the mini fridge in our room but it was completely occupied by the minibar, so the staff promptly had it emptied so we could use it for our own things.The standard room we booked was very large and had a beautiful view of the city. Upon arrival, the staff had left a thoughtful gift of sparkling wine and chocolates in our room as we had mentioned we were travelling to Budapest on our honeymoon. Inside the lobby the hotel is also well known for its beautiful architecture and it has a cafe and bar where you can sit and enjoy breakfast and dinner at their restaurant, or a simple coffee and nice glass of wine. It is very conveniently located only 5 minutes walk away from the river on the Pest side, and you can cross the bridge from there into the Buda side. The next time we visit Budapest we will absolutely be staying with Parisi Udvar again.

Parisi Uvdar Hotel: What a gem! From the moment you enter, it is clear you are somewhere super special. The vaulted ironwork has gothic details. The high arches and domes of leaded glass are reminiscent of Parisian shopping centers from the end of the 1800s. The service was first class and made our stay flawless from check in to departure. Our room was upgraded because of my Hyatt status. (Join before you go if you are not a member) They placed a lovely gift of sweets and chocolates to welcome us to our room. The enormous bathroom has a large soaking tub plus a separate shower. It has all the amenities you would expect in a fine hotel. The bedroom was also large, bright and well-appointed. They have electric blackout shades plus lovely window treatments. One small notable oddity was that housekeeping came every day just as we were napping as if they timed their visits to see us. If you need rest, make sure you put the do not disturb sign on the door. The concierge was very helpful, as was the bell staff. The neighborhood is excellent. It is filled with wide pedestrian shopping/dining streets. It is a block from the Danube. If you want to venture out, you can easily walk, get trams, Ubers (Bolts)and taxis. The neighborhood felt safe both day and night. I booked two nights on Expedia but when I wanted to add two more nights the price was $200 less when booking directly with the hotel. Compare prices before booking! So glad we chose this hotel!
