"Quite basic room, no frills, but clean and tidy. Price reflects the standard of rooms. Little decoration issues, but nothing too major. Staff were absolutely brilliant, very helpful, polite and smart. Would definitely recommend the hotel if you're on a budget, but if you're after luxury, this wouldn't be the hotel for you. There's no eating facilities there, but a nice bar."

"Warm welcome and friendly staff, however quite a modest property even for a BnB and at this price point. Small room with very small shower. Fine breakfast but only instant freeze dried coffee, and few options if you don't want a fry up. Immediate area full of litter on streets (like most of Barry). I know this isn't their fault but it's a location point. Overall a fine place to stay but I'm surprised current reviews are quite so high -- afterall, a warm and friendly welcome should be expected...

"The Hotel is close to the access roads to & from the M4 and A4232. Set in lovely grounds with lots of trees and foliage and a lake. Outside Veranda to sit and relax and have a drink. "Good location right on the water, pool and gym were very nice but we had a bad experience since our air conditioning did not work and we were only offered another smaller room that had water stains on ceiling…Parking should be free."
