"Room itself was clean, but the molding on the shower showed a large amount of black mold. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was delicious (made to order by their chef, who was very accommodating)."

"The rooms are well furnished but no aircon or appropriate cooling - so if you come in winter I’m sure it will be lovely. No signage as to where to go to check in, you have to wait for a member of the bar staff who are then not very helpful. Staff overall didn’t feel very welcoming. Food in the evening was over cooked and very dry but on the plus side the breakfast was delicious. We stayed one night and wouldn’t stay again."

"Rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. Food at the pub was the best we had during 2 weeks in Wales. Staff was helpful, friendly, and very accomodating. Highly recommend this place as convient to the Cardiff airport and very comfortable."

"Beautiful surroundings with an outside terrace overlooking a small lake, quiet. Staff very courteous and helpful. Grounds could do with a bit of tidying, cigarette stubs everywhere. Sink in bathroom problematic for shorter people, needed to stretch over the counter to use it, tap also very stiff to use and leaking. Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again."

"I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Its proximity to the train station was appealing to me, but I liked the location for many other reasons as well — close to shopping, restaurants and sights while still being quiet. The staff was excellent and the spa a wonderful indulgence. I was in a suite and loved the huge sofa to relax in!"

"Horrible experience at this hotel. The fire alarm went off twice in the night, for a false alarm. Woke everyone up from their sleep. Staff checked out the situation themselves rather than calling the firebrigade. Fire brigade was called by another guest. Received ZERO compensation for this traumatic event. Were not given the reasoning behind the false alarms, bad communication with guests. I was also injured at this hotel while leaving for the airport. There are stairs leading down to the...

"Zimmer und Badezimmer in Ordnung. Hotel insgesamt aber eher lieblos. Frühstück eine Frechheit. 5 Käsescheiben und 5 Wurstscheiben die sofort leer waren. Kaum Auswahl, bare minimum. Qualität minderwertig.. auch für britische Ansprüche. Preis/Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt."

"Staff are fantastic. AC didn’t work in my room during a heatwave and they wasted no time moving me to another. Easy check in/out. Great for a night’s stay."

"Room was overpriced for a concert, £400 per night when £220 normally. I’d expect an uplift but not this much. Room was worn, fan and windows dusty and unclean. Other room had no hot water in shower so unable to use. Noisy and limited sleep although bed comfortable No bar as closed. WiFi non existent and no 5G signal so if you want a quiet night and no shower then ideal place. Breakfast mediocre"

"Don’t stay at this hotel June to September. It is not able to handle hot weather. Our room was like sauna. The WiFi was poor at best with no or poor internet connection many times. The hot water was only warm at best. The building was a land mark and very interesting. The room was very large with a 12 foot ceiling"

"Stayed in room 6 beautifully furnished loved colour scheme great view of the pier and the sea from our window. Everything was very clean and the bed comfortable. Great breakfast each morning just a few yards down the road, think it was called Coffi. Parking is a bit of an issue. Would definitely use again. Thank you."

"I booked in for one night to go to a local event. The room was clean enough for an overnight stay. The staff left a fan in the room which was handy with how warm the night time was. Parking was on the road outside which was safe enough."
