"My second time staying at Amber House and it will be my go-to whenever I am visiting Paignton. The owners are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The room I had overlooked the back garden and it was very clean and private. Very lovely stay all the way around. Highly recommend Amber House-close to the beach, the train station, Paignton Harbour, and High street and the owners are very personable and the breakfast is just what you need to start the day right. Great value too!"

"Lovely property, very clean and stylish in design, excellent communication with property owners. My only criticism would be that it would benefit from a small desk or chest of drawers in the room and a TV guide for those who aren’t tech savvy. I did had trouble getting the shower to work but after exploring found a switch in the main room which was turned off that powered the shower. However that being said we would return and recommend this property."

"We requested an upgrade to a delux double room, we also requested to have well done bacon and this was granted for breakfast as the ones provided were not as we would have liked. Staff were very very helpful staff, spa staff lovely and helpful. Reception staff lovely, first impression great. Bar staff great. Evening meal lovely food and staff great, this is the second time we've stayed at the Imperial, I do recommend it and would stay again. They are refurbishing the hotel so some areas done and and a lot more to do as a very large hotel, pool is lovely, steam and jacuzzi amazing. So yes all amazing. All good. Nice place to stay."
