"We had a sea view room. Nice big walk in wardrobe . The bathroom was good although the shower was Luke warm. Big bed and nice to have extra seating looking out over the balcony for two people as well as a chair at the dressing table. A small table on the balcony would be beneficial but may not have been there as we visited in April and was lucky with the weather to be sunny enough to sit on the balcony. Staff all friendly, very efficient in the restaurant and for breakfast. The decor of the room and hotel is a bit outdated but this was what we expected from a hotel of this size and age. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again."

"We - family of 4 spent three nights at Amber house in Easter week, it was perfect accommodate for what we needed, we had twin room on the ground floor. This property is ran by the owners who are very friendly and caring. The breakfast menue for both ready and cooked food was great. The location is about 10min walk from the coast and the town centre."

"Check in was quick and got car parking. Room was clean, good sleep as bed was comfy and very quiet. Breakfast was good, enjoyed the stay."

"We had a very nice stay and enjoyed ourselves. The only problem we had was the lift breaking down a lot and took a long time to get fixed. We were only on the first floor and we did not ask not to have to use the stairs so it was not too much of a problem. We will come again."

"The hotel itself was lovely however for someone with chest problems the heating being on constantly didn’t help with the breathing and the beds were really uncomfortable "

"The 2 rooms which we have were absolutely awful….dirty and dusty and old. Walls didn’t see paint for years -some of wallpaper was stick together with tape ! We have mould and damp on the wall . My son vie from the window was bins and cars as his room was on the basement. Food was extremely basic and poor quality. Stuff smoking cigarettes outside and whole halls stink . You can hear drains all evening when people flushed the toilet. Walls are very thick so you can hear every single noise….Awful place."

"We stayed in a spacious family room with a beautiful sea view. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean; we really liked the room's location. However, we had some issues with cleanliness—the carpet was dirty, and the bathtub drain was clogged, causing water to pool during showers. Also, the edges of the tub were not clean. On the positive side, the outdoor pool was open and heated, which our daughter really enjoyed. The pool area was well-decorated and maintained. The staff were helpful and polite. As for breakfast, it was quite ordinary with limited options, but they provided cheese once we asked for it. It met our expectations but wasn't anything spectacular."
