"Absolutely fabulous if you're looking for a retreat in the country side. Access to Bovey Castle amenities is a nice feature. Enjoyed air rifle shooting range and hawking experience. Cottage is charming and local pub is a very short walk. Driving to the cottage on narrow windy roads is a little challenging but totally worth it!!!"

Jo was super good if there was an issue apart from the Wi-Fi was not great!!!!! "We stayed for one night and unfortunately were quite disappointed with our experience. The air conditioning in our room was not working, which made it extremely hot and uncomfortable, especially as there were no windows that could be opened for ventilation. The bar staff were also very unhelpful. They seemed reluctant to serve customers and repeatedly told us they had run out of ingredients for mocktails. The overall service felt poor and unwelcoming. To top it off, I ordered a cappuccino, and it was honestly one of the worst coffees I have ever had. Overall, this was not the standard I would expect from a Marriott hotel."
