Room was very clean and comfortable
But they was building work with scaffolding outside our window, but we were given coffee machine and extras for the inconvenience, which we were happy with

I was disappointed, I paid a reduced fee for an upgrade and now wish that I’d stuck to my original room. I found the bed uncomfortable, lumpy in places. The room wasn’t very clean, it had a dirty floor, my partners black top was covered in dust after we removed it from one of the high shelves. The seating had little bits of debris around the stitching and buttons. The bathroom and balcony were lovely. I was disappointed that there were too few supplies for our drinks, only 2 tea bags for 2 adults for the entire stay. The fridge was not working and didn’t keep anything cold. I was disappointed to have paid the amount of money that I did. I paid more as it was a special occasion and felt it was an average stay
It was my lack of research that I didn’t realise it was outside the centre of Brighton. The whole marina village area is quite soulless. However the rooms were super comfortable and quiet and you can catch the bus into town easily.

In our view it was overpriced for what we got. However, a lovely location at marina, with a very small balcony overlooking it. For nearly £1000 for 3 nights bed and breakfast I thought there would be a bit more 'care'. Room wasnt cleaned first day, air con didnt work properly despite reporting. Just OK.

Getting a little dated and a way out of Brighton but its a lovely place. Rooms really nice with great bathroom tho the room needed a thorough vacuum and dust.
Sign posting from car park to the hotel awful, automatic doors worked half the time and other times they didn't open. My shower only dripped out, terrible shower before work and although I complained there was no time to fix or change rooms as I was leaving

Overall the Malmaison was a nice hotel, but I wa misinformed about the Cra Parking arrangemets.
Being partially deaf, the lady on reception told me to park in the large Car Park next to McDonalds.
I did this but on the Ground Floor.
A day later I spoke to another member of staff about the parking and was advised that FREE Parking was only on Floor 6 of the Car Park. I moved my car immediately and I am hoping I will not get a Car Parking Fine.
Not as good as is has been previously
Always missing something from the bar which has been the same our previous 2 visits.
Always hear others complaining about the poor service in the restaurant .
The price reflects the location but with most restaurants permanently closed in the marina they might need to rethink the prices.
Comfortable stay with 'no frills'
The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. They explained the facilities of the hotel and local amenities. If I needed anything I just had to ask. Location of hotel was great and access to restaurant and bars was fantastic!
Really lovely trip on Easter Sunday, friendly staff and a great room with excellent view over the boats in marina. Nice breakfast but could just do with topping up a bit more often.
