"Upon arrival at the Grantham Arms, we were welcomed warmly by staff. The atmosphere was friendly and cheerful on the Saturday before Christmas. Our room was well-appointed and very cosy. The decor was stylish and comfortable with plenty of cushions and good quality bed linen and towels. "The property is in extensive grounds which are great for walking and bird-watching (we saw a Red Kite flying around the woods) The service was very attentive without being too much. The dining choices were excellent. The only slight issue was the cooked breakfast on Sunday was cold (not an issue on Friday or Saturday morning.) Overall, we'd be very happy to recommend this place to you and we'll be back soon. "
