"The property is not far from Brighton City Centre. The price was reasonable. We did not have dinner there, but the breakfast was excellent, good menu with lots of choices. It was good quality food and delicious. We would be happy to use the hotel again."

"Old World Charm. The cottage style single rooms were gorgeous. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It was the hottest few days of the year but they remained cool and calm. The food was excellent. Couldn't recommend it enough. Looking forward to being able to go back again."

"We booked here last minute, and what a wonderful choice. The staff were simply incredible and really friendly. We came in a little early to see if we could check in early, and within 15 minutes we were sorted. "Different kind of stay- think upmarket Airbnb but as a hotel. No staff on site- (although there was when we checked in as the house keeper and the owner appeared to be doing some maintenance). So all done by email- you get a code to access the doors. Our room was ready at 1pm- so it's an early check in which is good. Room was tidy and clean. "I loved it! The room was gorgeous, spacious and just right for my sister and I on my birthday eve. Breakfast was great and I am pleased. I didn’t realise it was above a pub but that wasn’t a problem. Free parking and 10mins drive to city centre. The AC in the room wasn’t functional but there was a back up fan that helped somewhat."

"The rooms were upstairs from a skeavy pub. The pub was situated directly on a busy road. The room was hot and stuffy (no fan provided) so the window had to stay open. The traffic seemed to be roaring through my room. I had to beg for help carrying my bags up the stairs. English breakfast was offered but only with fried eggs (I can't digest fried food.). Coffee (no tea) was offered. I can't drink coffee. One of the worst places I stayed in the UK (& not cheap.)"
