"What a wonderful find. We wanted a central location for exploring the Loire Valley. We couldn’t have been happier with Les Rives du Cher. Pascal and Corrine were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was lovely and there were several dinner options within easy walking distance at the end of the day. Highly recommend."

"The host Antoine is a national treasure. He loves to converse, and works hard to ensure the guests enjoy themselves. Our cottage was not as good as expected though. Very quiet, comfortable bed, but the bathroom is in desperate need of upgrades, beginning with the toilet which barely flushes. No TV set (fine), but hardly any Wi-Fi at our specific unit -- the Wi-Fi was great (and fast) everywhere else on the property though. The breakfasts were good but not great. No fruit, just regular...

"We had a wonderful stay at Le Clos Sainte-Marie and couldn’t recommend it more highly. It offers a truly authentic Loire Valley experience — peaceful, welcoming, and full of local charm. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property was spotlessly clean, the rooms were spacious and very private, and the location is ideal — close to most of the major Loire Valley castles.
