"Kitchenette poorly stocked and the stove wouldn’t start. The pool was either closed for special events or had music at all hours so loud that it was uncomfortable to be there and my kids couldn’t even stand it and had to leave. "

"For what we were charged, not worth the stay. The hotel and rooms are not up-kept well. Before arrival no one advised us that the pool would be closed for the entire week so we were not able to use it due to facade work being done. Breakfast had to be the only good highlight because the rest of the food was not good. Our key card kept being shut off almost daily which was very inconvenient and the garage staff was incredibly rude. The room was located right in front of the amenity area deck so we had no privacy. The bathroom in the room itself was not well cleaned before we arrived. Not worth the stay and will not be returning or recommending. The one highlight was the restaurant and bar staff, they were kind and very lovely people who were extremely attentive."

"I’ve stayed many times and Inreturn because the staff goes above and beyond. The employees work damn hard, so just be cool and be down to earth and be generous. Don’t be a greedy gringo or a cudo Colombian. Be thankful for what you have and if you tip each employee who goes above and beyond to assist you, you’ll realize that any generosity is appreciated, especially in a country with such small middle class and large wealth gap. Just be a good person and tip $10-$50 pesos at least once during your stay to each employee assisting you and you’ll be surprised how much more you’ll enjoy your stay at the NH. I’ve stayed at all the 5 stars in BAQ and the service iat the NH is among the best. Make sure you take care of the receptionists since they rarely receive tips, and just be friendly. "

"I’d rate my stay 3/5. For the price, I personally would not stay here again. The location was okay, but nothing particularly outstanding. The front desk staff was nice, welcoming, and courteous, and the cleaning lady was kind and helpful when I asked for fresh towels. The amenities were average. There is a nice view from the top floor, but unfortunately the windows were very dirty, which took away from the experience and blocked the view. Breakfast was one of the most disappointing parts of the stay. It was very Colombian-style, which may be fine for some guests, but I wish there had been more variety with options like pancakes, regular eggs, oatmeal, or other simple breakfast items. The fried snacks I tried were cold and hard. Items were not replenished quickly enough, so guests had to wait, and even after waiting, the food still was not warm. The breakfast area also felt a bit unorganized; napkins were not easy to find, and some staff seemed to be standing around chit chatting awkwardly while items were missing. The room size was good, but small details made the stay feel less comfortable, including scratches on the walls and nightstands, stained pillows, and stained towels. Overall, while the staff was friendly, the room condition, cleanliness details, breakfast organization, and food quality did not match the price point for me."
