"Our stay was ok. However the mattress in our room, the springs were gone which caused me to be quite uncomfortable throughout our stay and caused me to have pain in my hips. We then also didn't have a plug for our bath and were given a spare one that then also didn't fit the bath. The toilet was also flowing constantly at the back and the plug in the sink didn't also hold water. We ended up having food in the restaurant where my steak wasn't too good. "We really liked our stay here. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant, and our dog was made to feel welcome too. The hotel is a beautiful building, and our room was a good size, clean, and comfortable. You could hear noise from neighbours, but not too late. Despite there being plenty of space in the car park, both spaces for the EV chargers were taken by ICE cars. I was able to speak with one driver who did move their car so we were able to charge,...

Meals very pricey and not value ( plus 12.5% service charge ) All staff fantastic , very smart , courteous and friendly . Free shuttle cars to airport a boon . Pity no gymnasium in hotel or swimming pool !!still as mostly a 1 night stay hotel not to expect those details ."

"We stayed for 2 nights and were very impressed with the overall look of the place but we had booked a suite which the room was not as en-suite was like a broom cupboard. Breakfasts were fantastic and coffe excellent but need to offer other meals such as dinner or afternoon teas which could be quite lucrative for them. Wal was always there for you and offered us one of their fans as hot during our stay and this was very much appreciated by my wife and I. Would book again no problem."

"The rooms are clean enough and well maintained. The beds are the size they say they are. But although the bathrooms are well maintained, they are difficult to use. They are small, with no place to put your own toiletries. The shower head is weak, and having to climb into a 1950s bath tub is annoying. Especially for older folks. Who still uses a tub in a hotel? Walk in showers is where it's at."
