"Place smelled horrible. Bedsheets were stained. Mold all over the shared bathroom. I found a pair of used underwear beneath my mattress. The place had not been vacuumed in ages. Very shocked Expedia would allow a place like this to remain on their website. "

"A lovely hotel, staff were very accommodating. Hotel was clean and will be coming back. Close location to all the bars, the bar in the hotel was also very nice and breakfast in the morning was lovely."

"Reception staff were disorganised. We had 2 rooms booked - one was a larger king and the other a twin. We were directed to the wrong room. After repacking and finding the correct room the a/c was not working. Engineer never appeared as promised and after a further call a receptionist came to say he couldn’t fix it. We were promised a second fan which never arrived. The twin room was set up as a double despite requesting a twin. Both rooms were a long way apart despite asking for them to be close...

"A very enjoyable stay in a dated hotel. We were in a lovely clean and spacious room with a very good en-suite bathroom with a good bath and shower too. Friendly staff and a very good breakfast. We will definitely stay there again when we’re In Cheshire."
