"I enjoyed my stay at the Alma Lodge Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was easy to get a late drink at the bar. The breakfast was quite varied and staff checked that items were maintained regularly, unlike in many other hotels I have stayed at in the past. I would be happy to stay at the Alma Lodge again."

"Check in was easy. Room lovely great new bathroom nice tiles bed comfortable. Breakfast was extra at £6.75 but worth it. New landlords have done a great job updating the George, looking forward to our next visit. Great centre location exploring Kinder Scout and Twenty Trees."

The property has so much fascinating history and the current owners have gone thru great lengths to keep it all in the best conditions. We loved the breakfast with a great choice. "We absolute loved our stay at Castle House. It is a beautiful house and the decor and facilities were high end. The house was spotless when we arrived and the towels, cleaning and kitchen products and toiletries were such a lovely added touch. The tvs are amazing and every channel you could possibly want. The bathroom was lovely and clean and the heated towel rail was fantastic and very easy to use. The shower was lovely and spacious. Even though you are on a main road it didnt feel like it as...

"I stayed here for one night while visiting my brother in Bramhall. It is a lovely, quiet country inn, not far from Stockport station. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm and friendly. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. The shower had lovely hot water with a huge bathtub. All the staff was so kind and could not be more pleasant. I also invited a family of six that night for dinner and everything on the menu was delicious. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel."

"Everything about the property especially the staff are superb but its not appropriate not having even a single microwave and a fridge for customers use. Considering people with allergies or from different background would like to bring small portion of their food to refrigerate or warm prior eating. This does not affect the sales from the Indian restaurant and should be provided to attract more clients. Thanks"
