I got to the room and the smell of smoke and deodorizer was overwhelming, and I started to have an asthma attack. I called the desk and explained I couldn't stay and she checked me out, and refunded my room charge. The person at check-in was great. As a solo senior female traveller I also didn't feel safe; the outside door didn't require a guest key for admittance (was ajar and wasn't kept...
