This hotel was exactly what it says on the website, it’s clean, and close to the tower etc. we stayed in the family room and had a microwave, fridge and wee kitchen are, it also had a wee private garden with a door from our room. Will definitely be booking again.

Great value for money

Great value for money hotel. Great communication from the owners and the room was decent with a very comfortable bed. No issues at all.

This hotel cancelled my room with no explanation an hour before I was due to check in. They called me while I was on a flight coming from Canada so I didn’t get their message immediately. I was literally on a train to my destination trying to find another hotel during a busy music festival weekend so it’s amazing I even found another place, but I ended up spending more. I paid for this hotel months ahead of time. When I called to try and solve it, I got a random call centre and a guy who didn’t understand anything and they claimed my itinerary number was incorrect and made me contact Expedia. Awful and shocking treatment. They then tried to not refund my money so I had to call Expedia again. I have spent so much time on this ridiculous situation. I warn anyone against booking with these people as they don’t honour reservations, have no customer service to speak to, and then will try to rip off your money.

Disappointed

Our room was in the basement, well a basement conversion not yet finished. Extremely disappointed. The walls are paper thin and I could hear the tv in the next room. The room clearly wasn’t finished and the entrance stunk of damp as you walked in. There was a broken pane of glass in the entryway and is very dangerous for a family hotel. The floor was broken, big hole in the roof, cables hanging from the wall. You could see the spare bed and mattress as you go down the stairs and stains on the walls in the room. There wasn’t any room to swing a cat in the bathroom and the step to unfinished so was lifting. The laminate flooring by the door was broken and they put a rug over it to hide it. The toilet roll holder was hanging off and then fell off. I would close this room off until it is properly ready. There was nobody there to tell either once we got back from the circus and nobody there in the morning

Great stay and a great location

A nice warm welcome which made my daughter feel at home, she has Autism. Very handy for the Theatre and the Promenade. All 3 rooms were great, although 1 bathroom was a bit on the small side.

In shower room there was a bit of mold on side near shower also light near door kept going off and back on all night had to put towels near door to try and not see it tryed to go and tell man how owned it count found him told him in morning apart from that it was good

Give it a miss!

The hotel hosts were lovely, very welcoming and allowed us to leave out luggage at check out. However, the rooms were terrible. The bed was extremely noisey, the head board was falling off. There was dust everywhere, the bedside table didn’t look as though it had been wiped down in weeks. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned, the shower most definitely hadn’t been cleaned. There was wet toilet paper stuck on the shower and on the shower tray. The window wasn’t closing properly so we had a draft all night. There was a hole in the join at the floor and skirting which led outside so another draft!! Behind the chair was an empty toilet roll and a few crisps on the floor (don’t think the room had been swept of hoovered in months)

High Tides Hotel

High Tides Hotel was a clean friendly Hotel. I did try to call the Hotel on the number supplied by Hotels.com to try to arrange a early check-in if possible but unfortunately it just kept coming back number not recognised, A couple of observations from our stay in room no 4 would be perhaps a couple of spare pillows for guests to have a choice as my wife has disability issues where an extra pillow helps with comfort one other point is the position of the tea making facilities in the room where it is at present there is no socket to plug the kettle in if it could be moved to the other side of the washroom door where there is sockets it would be far easier to use as carrying a kettle of hot water across the room is not ideal. Other than that a very pleasant stay with pleasant staff we probably would stay at High Tides again.

Kein frisch bezogenes Bett !!!

Hab ich so noch nicht erlebt! Abfälle von den letzten Gästen unter den Bett. Dreckige Teppichränder!!! Das Bett war nicht frisch bezogen. Ansonsten ist das Frühstück ausreichend. War hilfsbereit in Sachen eines Taxi für die Rückfahrt bestellen.

When we arrived and was shown to our room I could of cried,it was very undated,the towel which was folded on the bed had a great big stain on it,but upon telling him he did change them.i don't think the room had ever been dusted,the mirrors were both very dirty,when I looked at the shower there was hairs in there from previous people,it just made me feel dirty being there,I think the owner would benefit if he employed a cleaner,I would nt stay there agian.

Greeted on arrival by a friendly member of staff, who happily allowed us to check in early. Would definitely stay there again, fresh bedding, room very tidy, a home from home.

Forty winks

A warm welcome and well fussed over. Room was clean, tidy and well appointed. It must be hard to keep everything in top order and this was obvious with some tired desolation and fittings. However, tea supplies were plentiful, breakfast was top notch and the friendliness of the owners beyond reproach.....overall, good value and a satisfactory stay. Car parking was in the next street (£6.50) for 24 hours, so factor this in too if you are budgeting.

Good value for money

Good location. Clean tidy what you would expect for £55 for three of us inc breakfast. Breakfast was excellent, if you don't want full English, there is plenty else to choose from. Would stay again for one night only, was just enough. Nice staff and car park two mins away £6 for 24 hrs, perfect.

good room for the price & friendly landlord

arrived early hoping to just park the car, landlord offered an early check in so we could dump our bags & settle the kids, no extra charge!! clean room & large enough for our family of 2 adults, 2 young kids. Not the most modern decor but clean bedding & free wifi in the room. Nice breakfast, small en-suite adequate for a few nights but not for a fortnight! Good value short stay, near the prom, tower & town centre with a sound, friendly landlord. Also has family room with big tv & a microwave in the hotel which was handy heating food for our toddler. (Parking at the end of the street was £7.50 for 24hours)

A comfy stay in Central Blackpool

A really warm welcome from the host and great breakfast. We were late and it wasn't a problem. The room and bathroom could've been a little cleaner (ask the cleaner to look around the edges) but it was perfectly adequate for my one night stay.
