"This is a great place in the forest about 25 minutes to some popular beaches. We loved exploring the area. The cabin was super clean and comfortable and the deck area is beautiful to have coffee while listening to the howley monkeys. The pool area is nicely set up for photo opps. The cherry on top is that they're pet friendly. We will stay again. "

"This is an absolutely beautiful property. It’s very secluded and has a very romantic feeling to it. The owner is amazing and makes you feel like family. We booked it last minute after our VRBO ended up being a scam and we had to scramble to find somewhere to sleep. "Our room was super clean. The grounds were lush and jungle like. True rainforest vibes. The staff were so helpful. They arranged our taxi from the airport and a massage by the pool. The breakfast at their restaurant was beyond explanation. It was so different yet phenomenal. Great spot. "

"The entire property was very well kept and clean, the hosts were very caring and went out of their way to grab us some groceries since we didn’t have a car. We came to surf Avellanas and walking wasn’t bad. If you are planning to do anything other than surf I would grab a rental car. "The staff were great ! The location is conveniently 15-20 mins to Tamarindo, which can save you a lot on the cost of staying in tamarindo. You can also arrange shuttle with them from the airport which is only about an hour away. The host is SUPER responsive through WhatsApp. You can also, pay through their payment system there and they will give you cash which is a great way to avoid looking for an ATM. "

"What a magical spot nestled in Playa Avellanas! We loved our time at Cabinas Las Olas - the rooms are great - clean and super comfortable.
