"We had an amazing overnight stay at the Annex. Nancy, the host, could not have been more welcoming, informative and helpful. The cottage was ideal for our particular needs - a rather last minute booking - and very clean and well equipped throughout. It was beautifully warm, and the property is set deep in a very beautiful part of lovely Exmoor. Would highly recommend this cosy cottage for a couple and reasonably priced as well. "

"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. "Absolutely lovely. The accommodation is excellent - a superior barn conversion. Really fabulous on a working farm. Hen Curtis was very friendly as well as her dogs Fido (retired sheep dog) Jumble mixed Labby/Poodle, Pinto young sheep dog. All love a good bit of stroking (not Hen!!!!). "Fantastic location, right by the river. Very nice pub with range of food & a good bar…staff all very nice & helpful…Nice to sit out on an evening. Accommodation was ok…the room was large with a comfy double bed but the kids/pullout bed was a bit old and there was no light by it. Bathroom was a good size but needs updating as fixtures were loose and decor tired…it could be an amazing place to stay, but needs some money spending on it. The location and nice staff made it a good stop over…& the outdoor space was lovely."
